"I feel good (insert bangin' JB's horns here)"

So the dog owner cut me a check for the jeans and now I am in a much better mood. I think I am going to head down to Dalva tonight in the Mission to check out my man Toph One and kick back a couple brews. Also, check out this video of C. Moore and I camping and swimming last weekend in Ansel Adams Wilderness just south of Yosemite. Check out my horrible farmer's tan perfectly bronze exterior. Oh, and if you're confused on what the eff C's talking about in the video, reference this past post. Yeah, I know it's a bit disturbing, sorry.

Fucked up day.

So my day started off lovely just doing the job search thing when I sliced my finger cutting an apple. At first I thought I cut the tip of my finger off but after washing out the cut I decided that I wouldn't need any stitches. So I figured I got lucky on that one. Later I was skateboarding around SF handing out flyers for this Thursday night at Underground SF, and I decided to cut through Dolores Park. All was well and the sun was shining and then out of nowhere this big sheep dog attacks me. It bit my leg and my skateboard went flying. Then it started tearing my brand new pair of jeans. Finally the dog let go and I look around and the people around in the park don't seem to know whose dog it is. Suddenly, I see the owner waving a hand and he tries to explain that "the dog hasn't attacked anyone in a while" and "why would you skateboard in expensive jeans?" That is when I about freaked out on the dude. I told him that I hadn't planned on getting attacked by a dog while skating in my jeans and I wanted to ask him if he has a dog who has attacked people before why doesn't he keep a better eye on the dog. Luckily, he agreed to pay for the jeans so I'll need to get a hold of the guy tomorrow. I didn't even think about my leg at first because I was so pissed off about the jeans, but later I realized I was bleeding and I had a couple of puncture wounds from the dog's teeth. So, at this point I was already running late to go pick up Pleasuremaker and Oz from the airport in Oakland so I just forgot about my leg for a while. While dealing with rush hour traffic I reflected on what I weird day I was having. Later my leg started feeling a bit swollen but it has since subsided, so hopefully I am still rabies free. Finally my day started getting better when we all went out for Thai food after returning to SF. It had been a long time since I remembered having a bad day so I guess I am pretty lucky. Also, putting my bad day into perspective with all of the injustice in the world I am able to realize I've got a lot to be thankful for, even on a shitty day like this. By the way, I love dogs and I have never been bit before but as a word of advice, watch out for crazy dogs and their crazy owners because they are definitely out there.

Mighty Friday.

C. Moore and I spun an early set at Mighty on Friday. Their system bigity-BUMPS!!!! Seriously, on the dance floor you are surrounded by four 20 ft. speaker sound systems that destroy the airwaves. I hear it's the best in San Fran and I don't doubt it for a second.

It had been a minute since we had spun a set together so it felt really good to be back on the decks with my homey!

Afterward we inialated some burritos at Cancun in the Mission.

Tunnel top tomorrow night. Don't sleep!

Another dope weekend in SF.

Friday Pleasuremaker and his band played a gig at the De Young Art Museum. The space was beautiful. The Architecture of the building is incredible.

Afterward, we met up with Foscil Fool, the rapping biker who was performing outside the museum. His set up is quite amazing. His bike generates all of the power for his speakers which he has set up wirelessly on two seperate bikes. Also, on the back of one of the bikes is an electronic drum kit which can be played while riding. Check out more info at rockthebike.com.

This is a video of us all biking through Golden Gate Park while rocking the soundsystem. Joel is on the electronic drum kit.

Here is the crew heading down Haight Street. Fun times indeed.

Saturday I kicked it with C. Moore is his studio. Some of his most recent productions are blowing me away. He has more recently feeling a more dubby style that I am really digging. Check out some of his work up on his Myspace.

Heading to the beach, then off to Dub Mission tonight at the Elbo Room. PEACE!!!

Casa Nueva.

So I'm finally somewhat settled into my new pad and the decks are properly set up. Stay tuned for a Afro-Latin psychedelic mixtape I'm about to drop very soon. I probably would have already uploaded it if one of my studio monitor speakers wasn't all funked up right now. Anyway, the place is coming together nicely.

Last weekend, I drove down to Santa Cruz with some homeys and kicked it on the beach. The weather was perfect.

4th of July was a great night too. This was my favorite pic of the evening. Pete definitely loves his freedom. Sweet jacket by the way.
